In January, Paris Hilton lost her oceanfront Malibu home to the Los Angeles wildfires. Rather than issue a formal statement, she shared a brief clip of news footage showing flames consuming the property, accompanied by a single line: “Heartbroken beyond words.” Hilton and her husband Carter Reum had purchased that home in 2021 for $8.4 million; two years later, it was gone.
Shortly after that loss, Hilton moved quickly to secure a new long-term residence. She and Reum recently closed on a $63.1 million estate inside Beverly Park, one of Los Angeles’s most private and heavily guarded neighborhoods. The mansion spans more than 30,500 square feet on over six acres and offers virtually every amenity expected at this tier—and a few unexpected extras.
The property was originally commissioned and completed by actor Mark Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham. They acquired the land in 2009 and finished construction in 2014, living there until 2023, when investor Leonid Smirnov bought it in an all-cash $55 million transaction. Less than two years later, Hilton acquired the estate for roughly $8 million more than Smirnov’s purchase price, with assistance from her brother Barron Hilton in brokering the deal.

Designed by architect Richard Landry—renowned for high-end residential projects that emphasize layout and enduring functionality—the home greets visitors with a limestone-clad foyer and a double staircase. Interior highlights include a two-story library, a formal living room, and a family room that opens onto a kitchen with two oversized islands. The primary suite features a private balcony, a sitting area, two dressing rooms and dual bathrooms. Additional luxury amenities include a home theater, a professional-grade gym, and a combined wine and cigar lounge with its own tasting area.
The outdoor grounds are expansive and built for active recreation and entertainment. The estate features a full skate park, a five-hole golf course complete with driving range, a multi-sport court, a grotto-style pool with waterfalls and waterslides, and a detached guesthouse. Monthly HOA dues exceed $6,400, reflecting the high level of maintenance and security that the community requires.
Prior to purchasing the Beverly Park estate, Hilton and Reum lived in a Beverly Hills rental reportedly listed at $160,000 per month. Their real estate portfolio also includes a $5.9 million home in Mulholland Estates and a $3.8 million penthouse in New York’s NoHo neighborhood. Still, the Beverly Park property represents a different scale of ownership—both far larger than their previous rental and intentionally secluded within a gated community focused on privacy.
Hilton’s purchase followed only months after she publicly documented the loss of her Malibu house, which she had bought in 2021. She posted news footage showing the fire as it occurred and described watching the house burn on live television.
While this new estate cannot replace the emotional value of what was lost, the acquisition appears deliberate and purposeful. Beverly Park is not a neighborhood one simply moves into by chance; its design and infrastructure—long private driveways, layered security measures, and no through traffic—are built to protect privacy and provide a secure, secluded environment for residents.
